4 Reasons Tina Fey and Amy Poehler Are the Ultimate BFFs

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are going to be in a new movie together in the aptly titled, "Sisters."

They'll play sisters who throw an epic party, and it basically already sounds like the female answer to every bro-tastic rager movie. But before we get the party started, let's take a look back at just a few of the many reasons that make Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's epic friendship simply awesome:

1. Because they started from the bottom

There couldn't be a a more perfect way for their worlds to collide than through comedy. They met at Chicago's ImprovOlympic and were brought together by co-founder Charna Halpern when she noticed similarities between them.

2. They knew how to get stuff done on "Saturday Night Live"

Aside from countless of side-splitting unforgettable sketches on "SNL," Tina and Amy made history on the show when they became the first women to run Weekend Update.

3. They're the hostesses with the most-est

The two-time hostesses reached a 10-year-high in ratings for the Golden Globes. In 2014, 20.9 million viewers tuned in and had 19.7 million viewers the previous year. When Ricky Gervais hosted in 2012, about 16.8 people tuned in.

4. No matter what, they're each other's biggest fans

Tina Fey basically channeled Amy's spirit throughout "30 Rock" with this hidden Easter egg. The two of them have spilled the nicest words about one another in each of their books, "Bossypants" and "Yes, Please." They're probably the first to congratulate each other on anything from a new project to a winning awards. They already have plans to try and get their kids to marry each other. No matter what they do next, we'll always wait around for our invite to come hang out with them and soak up their awesomeness.
