Voice of Disney Princess Moana, 16-Year-Old Auli'i Cravalho, Stuns With Oscars Performance

Auli'i Cravalho, the voice of the newest Disney Princess, Moana, performed "How Far I'll Go" at the 89th Academy Awards on Sunday night.

Author of the Oscar-nominated Best Original Song, Lin-Manuel Miranda, opened Cravalho's performance with one of his raps before the 16 year old took the stage with great poise and grace.

Cravalho is both the speaking and singing voice of the Disney-animated character.

"Moana" tells the story of a Polynesian princess that feels a constant pull to the ocean although her role is to be the future ruler of her village. The movie is in theaters now.
