Watch John Legend and Ariana Grande's "Beauty and the Beast" Music Video

Here’s a bit of magic to carry you from the weekend into Monday: The music video for John Legend and Ariana Grande's remake of the "Beauty and the Beast" title track is officially here — and it gives the most in-depth peek at the real-life reimagining of the Disney fairy tale that we’ve seen to date.

The music video, which debuted March 5 in the middle of "Harry Potter" weekend on Freeform, takes us deep inside the Beast’s castle — where we find Grande gazing into the enchanted mirror (perhaps looking for Legend) and donning a deep red ballgown so extravagant and (quite frankly) large it could very well be hiding Lumiere, Cogsworth, Mrs. Potts, Chip, and the whole dang cupboard. She finds herself surrounded by the dancing petals of the enchanted rose — but hopefully, not every petal has jumped the stem to take part in this interpretative dance (otherwise the Beast is straight out of luck of ever becoming human again). Legend appears soon after at his piano, looking very princely and regal. And while Grande and Legend's fantastical costumes and vocals are treat enough, it is the scenes from the upcoming "Beauty and the Beast" film that really take this video over the edge. Specifically, there are shots of Belle and the Beast’s iconic (and pivotal) dance and the adorable Mrs. Potts and Chip that have us even more excited for the live-action film than we thought possible.

Watch for yourself, below:

Grande and Legend's version of the Disney classic song was originally made famous by Céline Dion and Peabo Bryson back in 1991. "Stepping into the shoes of an Oscar- and Grammy Award-winning classic is not small potatoes," producer Ron Fair previously said in a statement. "But with today's two greatest singers — John Legend and Ariana Grande — we are bringing the song back with a new school/old school fresh treatment that shows the soulfulness and power of what a great melody and lyric can inspire."

And while Dion isn’t lending her famous voice to the live version's title track, she will still appear on the soundtrack in an original song entitled "How Does a Moment Last Forever."

"Beauty and the Beast" hits theaters March 17.
