Lori Goler is the global Head of People at Facebook, responsible for all aspects of Facebook's people strategy including hiring, growing and retaining Facebook's global team of over 15,500 people across more than 50 offices in 30 countries. During Lori's tenure, the Facebook team has grown by more than 30x and Facebook has been recognized as a leading place to work. In 2017, Facebook was named #1 in tech and #2 overall on Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work list.
A prominent voice shaping the future of work and building a culture of innovation based on people’s individual strengths, Lori has been featured on CNBC and CNN. Her work has been published in "Harvard Business Review" and she has been featured in the "Washington Post," "Fortune," and "Fast Company."
Lori joined Facebook in 2008 after five years at eBay, where she held a variety of marketing and general management roles that included leading consumer marketing for the eBay brand.
Lori serves on the board of the Lean In Foundation, Stanford Health Care and Castilleja School for girls. She holds a B.A. from Yale, an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, and an M.P.P. from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. She lives in Palo Alto with her husband and three children.
