Samantha Leibovitz DeChiaro
As a Vice President and Creative Director at AOL, Samantha Leibovitz DeChiaro oversees MAKERS, the largest collection of women's stories ever assembled. Since launching MAKERS in 2012, MAKERS.com has been named by Forbes as one of the "best websites for women," the brand went global in 2014 with the launch of MAKERS China (MAKERS Canada and MAKERS UK have since followed), and most recently MAKERS celebrated its first Emmy nomination.
Samantha has served in a variety of leadership positions since joining AOL in 2010. Prior to running MAKERS, Samantha served as Chief of Staff across the AOL.com and AOL Lifestyle Brands after successfully launching and running several brands in the AOL portfolio.
Samantha, originally from the Washington, DC area, graduated from the S.I. Newhouse School of Pubic Communication at Syracuse University and currently lives in New York City.
