Sara Carlson is an IBM practice leader who brings more than 30 years experience in sales and marketing as an entrepreneur, technologist, and consultant. Her passion for leading clients through major business transformation collaborations is currently focused on Internet of Things (IoT) programs, enabled by the latest cloud, social, mobile, and analytics technologies from IBM, Salesforce.com, and Zuora. In addition to IoT, Sara’s expertise extends to Connected Vehicles, Smarter Commerce, Smarter Marketing, Global Account Management, Digital Front Office, Integrated Marketing and Sales Transformation. She is currently leading the IBM GTM connected car initiative for IBM’s Industrial Sector. Previously, she has led transformation programs for major automotive and electronics firms, including Intel, Cisco, NetApp, Global Foundries, General Motors, and Brocade. Sara is a graduate of the University of Chicago.
