Ogilvy & Mather
Hailing from the bucolic English countryside, NYC-based director Emily Anderson has her dream job as in-house filmmaker at Ogilvy & Mather New York. Her films strive to make sense of humanity while telling a good story. Not content to stay within her comfort zone, Emily has made films all over the U.S. and the world — Australia, Vietnam, Japan, Singapore, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Canada, and Russia. She has shot everything from commercials to branded content, large-scale to intimate productions and has directed work for Ogilvy’s clients including Amex, IBM, Philips, DuPont, and Siemens. In addition to her directing career, Emily cofounded ”The Usual,” a limited-edition newsprint magazine and love letter to Montauk, as a way to explore the unusual stories and people that make this “drinking village with a fishing problem” so vibrant and special.
